Some medicine is passed through a plate.
Soma's Table is a ceremonial dining experience — a progressive six-course tasting menu woven from locally sourced ingredients and handcrafted with intention. Each course arrives as its own offering, a small universe of flavor and meaning, inviting you to slow down, drop in, and let the sensory world do what ceremony does best: dissolve the ordinary and make the sacred visible.
We will break bread together as an act of witnessing. As the light shifts and the earth begins her great turning, we gather around the table to honor the Autumn Equinox through taste, texture, and the ancient intimacy of sharing a meal. The mountains of Appalachia hold a particular kind of autumn — rich, amber, unhurried — and every element of this table will be in conversation with that turning.
This gathering is rooted in a lineage of sacred service that understands food as medicine and the table as altar. What is grown close to home carries the memory of its soil. What is made by hand carries the energy of its maker. You will taste both.
Meet me at the table.
Please Note: This is an intimate gathering of only 12. As this is a ceremonial tasting menu, dishes are served as crafted with no substitutions. Please note the menu includes gluten, dairy, and a beef course, with each course accompanied by a botanical beverage.
